Eastern West Virginia Community & Technical College is accredited institution through the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Eastern provides affordable tuition, an application for financial aid, free admission application, convenient location and flexible scheduling.
To attend full-time at Eastern, the average yearly cost is $3,000 plus books and fees. The college has 11 degree programs, as well as skill sets and certificates. Eastern’s Workforce Department has short-term training programs in Phlebotomy Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Coding & Billing, Pharmacy Technician and CDLs.

Audition for Into the Woods at McCoy’s Grand
McCoy’s Grand Theatre is hosting an Audition for the upcoming performance of Into the Woods. Based on the TONY Award-winning book and score as both are enchanting and touching as the story follows a Baker and his wife who wish to have a child, Cinderella who wishes to attend the King’s Festival, and Jack who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse and meet many other storybook characters along the journey. Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results. Auditions for Into The Woods will be Friday, May 15th at 5:30 pm until 8:30 pm and Saturday, May 16th at 11:30 am until 1:30 pm at McCoy’s Grand Theater in Moorefield, WV. Cast will be comprised of adults and teenagers. If interested in auditioning, please bring a prepared piece. Those interested need to attend at least one of the auditions and bring a schedule that will outline conflict dates for over the summer. Production dates are scheduled for later this summer. LAS VEGAS, Nev.-The North American Retail Hardware Association (NRHA) and Independent We Stand recently announced the findings of their “Home Sweet Home Study,” which examined the economic impact of supporting independent home improvement retailers as opposed to national home center chains. The study, conducted by economic analysis and strategic planning firm, Civic Economics, was released on May 6, 2015 at the National Hardware Show® in Las Vegas.

Eligible applicants must be private, non-profit organizations with 501(c) tax exempt status from the U.S. Treasury/Internal Revenue Service.
